There is a small lake in my hometown, which is one of my favorite place. I always go to the lake with my friends. We swim and play a lot there. Sometimes we will go boating and enjoy the quiet moment. Now the lake is not that clean because of the pollution. I realize the importance of protecting the environment.

在家乡我的家乡有一个小湖，那是我最喜欢的地方之一。我总是和我的朋友一起去湖边，我们经常游泳、玩耍。有时我们会去划船，享受安静的时刻。现在的湖因为污染已经不那么干净了。我意识到保护环境的重要性。

Today, when I go home after school, I find that I lose my key. I feel so worried and try to remember all the places I have been to. As I walk into the shop, an old man stops me and asks if I lose the key. I feel so excited and say yes. At last, I find my key and go home. Though I am lucky this time, I tell myself not to do it again.

今天放学回家后，我发现我弄丢了我的钥匙。我很担心，努力去回想所有我去过的地方。当我走进商店时，老人拦住了我，问我是不是弄丢钥匙了。我很激动，然后说是的。最后，我找到了我的钥匙回家了。虽然这一次我很幸运，但我也告诉我自己下次不要再犯了。

As the winter vacation comes, my school has activities for students, and we can choose to go to other cities to learn the historical knowledge. I want to join, but I also want to spend some time with my grandparents. At last, I make the tough choice. I decide to visit my grandparents, because I love them so much and I want to company them.

When I walk on the street, I found most people don't obey the traffic rules, they just ignore the rules, when there are a lot of people go across the street, they just follow them. It is so dangerous, the accident is very easy to happen, the car will hit the people any time. For the safety, we should obey the traffic rules.

当我走在街上的时候，我发现很多人不遵守交通规则，他们忽视规则，当很多人过马路的时候，他们跟着人群。这是很危险的，很容易发生意外，车子会随时撞到人。出于安全问题，我们应该遵守交通规则。

Many students are going spring outing. Some students are boating and some students are having a picnic. The others are playing games. There is a girl siting on a chair reading a book. The sky is blue. The trees are green. The flowers are red. It's a very beautiful park. They have a good time!

I went to visit my grandparents last August. They lived in a small village far from Shenyang. I was born there ten years ago. I remembered it had been a poor place before.

But when I got to the village, I found that great changes had taken place there. The villagers became richer. They looked happy and healthy. A lot of new buildings were built.

I am very happy, because the Mid-autumn Festival is coming. During the days, there are many moon cakes. I love eating moon cake very much. There are various tastes, such as sweet, salt and so on. I like the sweet ones, especially the fruit-filled moon cakes. My parents always buy many for me, because they know I like moon cakes. Besides, moon cake has good moral. It symbolizes reunion. When I eat the moon cake, I often think of my big family and my relatives.

我很高兴，因为中秋节就要来了。在那几天，有很多的月饼，我很喜欢吃月饼。月饼有很多口味，比如说甜的，咸的等等。我喜欢吃甜的，特别是水果馅的。我父母总是给我买很多，因为他们知道我喜欢吃月饼。此外，月饼具有美好的象征。它象征着团圆。当我吃月饼的时候，我经常想起我的大家庭和我的亲戚。

I have an uncle, he is so kind to me and I like him so much. My uncle looks very young, he is busy with his work. But when he goes back on business, he will bring me the gift. Sometimes I will play basketball with him or we watch the game together, we share our opinion. My uncle is like my brother.

I had a wonderful holiday at spring festival. I went to the park with my friends. We met at eight o'clock at the school gate. We went to the park by bike. It was a beautiful day. We sat under a big tree and chatted with each other. We talked about some movies and some fun things. We had lunch there. We ate hamburgers and some drinks, but I know they are not healthy and not good for us. Then we played some games.

My family are glad to be volunteers at any time. My parents often help the children in poor areas. My sister helps in the school library twice a week. Sometimes I read newspapers to the old people.

Mother's Day is a day for the children to show gratitude to their mothers. As a small kid, I don't have much money, but I really want to do something for my mother. So I decided to help her to do the housework. I clean the floor and wash the dishes. I also tidy my room. When my mother goes home, she is very happy.

母亲节是孩子们向母亲表示感谢的日子。作为一个孩子，我没有多少钱，但我真的想为我的母亲做点什么。所以我决定帮她做家务。我擦地板和洗碗。我还整理了我的房间。当我妈妈回家时，她很高兴。

When festival comes, I will be very excited, because the family gets together and I can see my cousins. As I am the only child in my family, my cousins and I are very close. We share everything, but his home is a little far away from mine, so we don't see each other often. The festivals let us have the chance to play together. It rained heavily in the evening. But father was still at work. I didn't think he brought an umbrella when he went out this morning. So I decided to take an umbrella to him.

As the winter vacation has come, my families decide to do something different. We spend the time in foreign country, which is a very warm place for me. We fly to Thailand and it is the summer weather all the time. I feel so comfortable and enjoy the sunshine there. It is the best winter holiday for me.

寒假来了，我的家人决定过一个与平时不一样的假期。我们去了国外一个非常温暖的地方。我们飞到泰国，那里一直都是夏天的气候。我觉得很舒服，享受着那里的阳光。这对我来说是最好的寒假。

Winter holiday is coming. I am so excited.

In this winter holiday, I am going to take a trip with my parents by plane. We are going to Beijing. Then, I am going to go ice skating there. I am going to see the snow. I will play with the snow. We are going to have the winter holiday. During the holiday we will have the Spring Festival. So all of the families in China are having a busy time. All of the children in China like Spring Festival very much, because they can eat many delicious food and get many money. But children in China have to do the homework for Winter Holiday. So that the could remember what they have learn the year before. Each of the children likes Winter Holiday.

我们将要放寒假。假期期间我们将过春节。所以中国所有的家庭都很忙。中国所有的孩子都非常喜欢春节，因为他们可以吃很多美味的食物，也可以得到很多压岁钱。但中国的孩子们不得不为寒假做作业。这样他们就能记住前一年学到的东西。每个孩子都喜欢寒假。

I spend a lot of time on the homework. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it is nine o'clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I'm not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

我花了很多时间在家庭作业上。在我的寒假里，我每天都起得很晚。然后我听磁带，一般是九点钟。然后我吃了早餐，然后在白天做了作业！我不是很慢，但作业太重了！
