There is a small lake in my hometown, which is one of my favorite place. I always go to the lake with my friends. We swim and play a lot there. Sometimes we will go boating and enjoy the quiet moment. Now the lake is not that clean because of the pollution. I realize the importance of protecting the environment.

在家乡我的家乡有一个小湖，那是我最喜欢的地方之一。我总是和我的朋友一起去湖边，我们经常游泳、玩耍。有时我们会去划船，享受安静的时刻。现在的湖因为污染已经不那么干净了。我意识到保护环境的重要性。

When I walk on the street, I found most people don't obey the traffic rules, they just ignore the rules, when there are a lot of people go across the street, they just follow them. It is so dangerous, the accident is very easy to happen, the car will hit the people any time. For the safety, we should obey the traffic rules.

Many students are going spring outing. Some students are boating and some students are having a picnic. The others are playing games. There is a girl siting on a chair reading a book. The sky is blue. The trees are green. The flowers are red. It's a very beautiful park. They have a good time!

I went to visit my grandparents last August. They lived in a small village far from Shenyang. I was born there ten years ago. I remembered it had been a poor place before.

I am very happy, because the Mid-autumn Festival is coming. During the days, there are many moon cakes. I love eating moon cake very much. There are various tastes, such as sweet, salt and so on. I like the sweet ones, especially the fruit-filled moon cakes. My parents always buy many for me, because they know I like moon cakes. Besides, moon cake has good moral. It symbolizes reunion. When I eat the moon cake, I often think of my big family and my relatives.

Mother's Day is a day for the children to show gratitude to their mothers. As a small kid, I don't have much money, but I really want to do something for my mother. So I decided to help her to do the housework. I clean the floor and wash the dishes. I also tidy my room. When my mother goes home, she is very happy.

I spend a lot of time on the homework. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it is nine o'clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I'm not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

The Chinese New Year lasts fifteen days. So during the fifteen days, we always visit our relatives from door to door. At that time, children are the happiest because they can get many red packets form their parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and so on. The last day of the Chinese New Year is another festival. It names the Lantern Festival.

So the Chinese New Year comes to the end.

Things happened in Spring Festival Day, I went shopping with my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a rare occasion because we hardly only get together few times in a year as a big family. On the way to the shopping mall, we watched the lion dance. Overall, we had an unforgettable day.
