Golden week means long vacation. I'm in favor of the existing of golden week. Every year, I'm looking forward to its coming. During the golden week, I can have a good rest at home or go for a travel if my parents would like to. It is very wonderful. A semester is very long, and I often feel tired after a semester. Thus, if I can have a little long vacation during the long time study would be great. After I have a good rest, I can study effectively. Having a good rest, everyone would be full of energy.

黄金周意味着长假。我赞成黄金周的存在。每年我都期待着黄金周的到来。在黄金周期间，如果我的父母愿意，我可以在家好好休息，或者去旅行。这是非常美妙的。一个学期很长，一个学期后我经常感到疲倦。因此，如果我能在长时间的学习中有一个小长假，那将是很好的。在我好好休息之后，我可以有效地学习了。好好休息，每个人都会精力充沛。

Today is Friday. It is my thirteenth birthday. I got up very early in the morning and put on my new clothes happily. My parents bought me the new clothes as my birthday presents. I went to school earlier than before. I invited many of my classmates to come to my birthday party in the evening.

今天是星期五。今天是我的十三岁生日。我早上起得很早，高兴地穿上了新衣服。我父母给我买了新衣服作为生日礼物。我比以前更早上学了。我邀请了很多同学来参加我晚上的生日聚会。

Evening came at last. Many of my classmate came to my home. They bought me lots of beautiful presents. They all said:"Happy birthday to you!" We sang birthday songs happily. Then my parents brought out a big birthday cake, saying:"We love you for ever. Happy birthday!"

晚上终于到了。我的许多同学来我家。他们给我买了很多漂亮的礼物。他们都说：“祝你生日快乐！”我们快乐地唱着生日歌。然后我父母拿出一个大生日蛋糕，说：“我们永远爱你。生日快乐！”

At the end of the party, we ate the birthday cake and some other delicious food. How happy I was!

As the winter vacation comes, my school has activities for students, and we can choose to go to other cities to learn the historical knowledge. I want to join, but I also want to spend some time with my grandparents. At last, I make the tough choice. I decide to visit my grandparents, because I love them so much and I want to company them.

随着寒假的到来，学校组织了学生活动，我们可以选择去其他城市学习历史知识。我想加入，但我也想和我的祖父母一起度过一段时间。最后，我做出了艰难的选择。我决定去看望我的祖父母，因为我非常爱他们，我想陪伴他们。

I am very happy, because the Mid-autumn Festival is coming. During the days, there are many moon cakes. I love eating moon cake very much. There are various tastes, such as sweet, salt and so on. I like the sweet ones, especially the fruit-filled moon cakes. My parents always buy many for me, because they know I like moon cakes. Besides, moon cake has good moral. It symbolizes reunion. When I eat the moon cake, I often think of my big family and my relatives.

我很高兴，因为中秋节就要来了。在那几天，有很多的月饼，我很喜欢吃月饼。月饼有很多口味，比如说甜的，咸的等等。我喜欢吃甜的，特别是水果馅的。我父母总是给我买很多，因为他们知道我喜欢吃月饼。此外，月饼具有美好的象征。它象征着团圆。当我吃月饼的时候，我经常想起我的大家庭和我的亲戚。

I had a wonderful holiday at spring festival. I went to the park with my friends. We met at eight o'clock at the school gate. We went to the park by bike. It was a beautiful day. We sat under a big tree and chatted with each other. We talked about some movies and some fun things. We had lunch there. We ate hamburgers and some drinks, but I know they are not healthy and not good for us. Then we played some games.

在春节我有一个美好的假期。我和我的朋友去了公园。我们八点钟在学校门口见面。我们骑自行车去了公园。这是一个美好的一天。我们在一棵大树下坐着，互相闲聊。我们谈论了一些电影和一些有趣的事情。我们在那里吃午饭。我们吃了汉堡包和一些饮料，但我知道他们是不健康的，对我们没有益处。然后我们玩了一些游戏。

We were all fell tired, but we were very happy! It was great fun!

As the winter vacation has come, my families decide to do something different. We spend the time in foreign country, which is a very warm place for me. We fly to Thailand and it is the summer weather all the time. I feel so comfortable and enjoy the sunshine there. It is the best winter holiday for me.

寒假来了，我的家人决定过一个与平时不一样的假期。我们去了国外一个非常温暖的地方。我们飞到泰国，那里一直都是夏天的气候。我觉得很舒服，享受着那里的阳光。这对我来说是最好的寒假。

In this winter holiday, I am going to take a trip with my parents by plane. We are going to Beijing. Then, I am going to go ice skating there. I am going to see the snow. I will play with the snow. I like winter holiday very much, although it's very short. The Spring Festival is interesting. I have many things to eat and I will have new clothes. Besides, I can watch TV. I like cartoons. They are so interesting that I can watch them all the day. I have a new computer, so I can play games with my father. He promised to teach me. I will visit my relatives during the Spring Festival and I can get lucky money. Therefore, I can buy something I like. I have many to buy. Winter holiday is wonderful.

As the winter vacation is drawing near, I have a plan about my vacation. I'm going to do what I want to do. I'm going to study harder in order to get good grades in the following term. After finishing all my homework, I'm going to enjoy myself in the sea of knowledge. Reading must be a good idea. I'm going to keep fit at the same time. I'll get up early in the morning everyday and play sports. I really love sports. Besides that, Eating a balanced diet is also good for my health. I'm going to help my mom and dad with the housework as well in the vacation. I'll learn to cook. As for travelling, I'm planning to go to Hainan. But whether going there or not will be decided on the weather. During the vacation, I'm going to learn more about history, as I'm really poor on it.

It's very cold in winter. There is snow and ice everywhere and you are always in a white world. You must wear warm clothes. The most exciting thing is playing with snow. Skating is also very interesting there.

We are going to have the winter holiday. During the holiday we will have the Spring Festival. So all of the families in China are having a busy time. All of the children in China like Spring Festival very much, because they can eat many delicious food and get many money. But children in China have to do the homework for Winter Holiday. So that the could remember what they have learn the year before. Each of the children likes Winter Holiday.

我们将要放寒假。假期期间我们将过春节。所以中国所有的家庭都很忙。中国所有的孩子都非常喜欢春节，因为他们可以吃很多美味的食物，也可以得到很多压岁钱。但中国的孩子们不得不为寒假做作业。这样他们就能记住前一年学到的东西。每个孩子都喜欢寒假。

I spend a lot of time on the homework. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it is nine o'clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I'm not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

我花了很多时间在家庭作业上。在我的寒假里，我每天都起得很晚。然后我听磁带，一般是九点钟。然后我吃了早餐，然后在白天做了作业！我不是很慢，但作业太重了！

New Year's Day is coming. My favorite day of a year is New Year's Day, because I can eat lots of nice food and have a holiday.

元旦快到了。我一年中最喜欢的一天是元旦，因为我可以吃很多美味的热食物，并度过一个假期。

This year, I want to go to Beijing, because, there are a lot of lakes, I can fish, that is very warmth, I cannot feel cold and this are many street, I can shopping, so I think it is very comeliness, it is my wish. Now, I am really very excited.

Last year's Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

去年的春节很特别。我的叔叔和婶婶从上海回来。我的家人很高兴能和他们一起过春节。这是所有节日中最令人兴奋的节日。

On New Year's Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programs. At about six o'clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

除夕夜，我父亲和我叔叔一起谈论了他们的工作。我妈妈和我婶婶祖父母一起做饭，我看了新年电视节目。大约六点钟，我们吃了一顿特别的家庭晚餐。我们都觉得饺子很好吃。

On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefang Road. My uncle bought some Jay's CDs. He likes Jay's music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

在新年的第一天，我们拜访了我们的亲戚。下午，我们去解放路购物。我叔叔买了一些周杰伦的CD。他非常喜欢周杰伦的音乐。路上有那么多人。比一年中的任何时候都更活跃。

On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

Things happened in Spring Festival Day, I went shopping with my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. It was a rare occasion because we hardly only get together few times in a year as a big family. On the way to the shopping mall, we watched the lion dance. Overall, we had an unforgettable day.

事情发生在春节那天，我和我的父母、祖父母、阿姨、叔叔和堂兄弟一起去购物。这是一个难得的机会，因为作为一个大家庭，我们一年中几乎只聚过几次。在去购物中心的路上，我们观看了舞狮。总的来说，我们度过了难忘的一天。

My summer holiday begun on July 7th. I love summer holiday because I don't have to go to school and I can enjoy myself with my friends. I often spend the mornings doing my homework and I always watch TV in the afternoon at home because it's very hot outside. And in the evening, I go swimming with my family and then hang out with my friends. I love swimming very much.

我的暑假从7月7日开始。我喜欢暑假，因为我不用去学校，可以和朋友玩。我经常在上午做作业，下午在家看电视，因为外面很热。傍晚，我和家人去游泳、然后和朋友去逛街。我很喜欢游泳。

My plan for August is travelling. I travel with my family every summer holiday. I like travelling because I can go to different places and meet different people. Sometimes I make good friends during the journey. And it's very sad to say goodbye to them when the journey ends.

我八月份的计划是去旅游。我每个暑假都和家人去旅游。我喜欢旅游是因为我可以去不同的地方认识不同的人。有时候我在旅途中交到了好朋友。旅途结束和他们告别的时候我觉得很难过。
