I have a great time during the winter holiday, because I enjoy myself as well as focus on my study. As it's known to all, the Spring Festival is the most important in winter holiday that would occupy much time to celebrate it. Therefore, I finished my homework first, so that it won't bother my enjoyment during the festival. I finished my home work in one week and I went shopping with my parents. We bought a lot of things, especially snacks and fruits. Then, it was the Spring Festival. We had a big dinner on the New Year's Eve. My parents prepared the big dinner and I could only act as assistant. The dinner was so delicious that I ate so full. In the next several days, my parents and I visited our relatives and friends or they visited us. Sometimes, we went out for fun together. We children were always the most excited. Now, holiday is coming to the end and I will go to school soon. I am so happy that I have a wonderful winter holiday.

我度过了一个很快乐的寒假，因为我不仅玩得开心，也完成了我的学习任务。众所周知，春节是寒假的重头戏，我们会花很多的时间去庆祝新年。因此，我首先要完成作业，这样才不会让它们影响我过节的快乐心情。我用一个星期完成了寒假作业，期间也和爸爸妈妈一起出去购物，我们买了很多东西，特别是零食和水果。接下来，就是过春节了，我们吃了一顿丰盛的年夜饭。爸爸妈妈制作这顿大餐，而我只能帮忙打下手。年夜饭很好吃，我吃得很饱。接下来的几天，我们和亲人朋友互相串门拜年，有时候也一起出去游玩，我们小孩子是最兴奋的。现在，寒假马上就要结束了，我也要去上学了。度过了一个这么快乐而充实的假期让我很开心。

In China, a lot of students are complaining about the difficulty to master English. They know how important English is, but they just feel hard to learn it. However for many foreingers, when they start to learn Chinese, some even speak it very well. To conquer Chinese has been the popular slogan for them. As Chinese economy develops so fast, the foreigners have realized the trend, so mastering Chinese is the best way to seek for cooperation. Even though it has been admitted that Chinese is the most difficulty language to learn, still a lot of foreigners make up their minds and learn it well. As the saying that there is will, there is a way. So when we are complaining about the difficulty to learn second language, just thinking about the foreigners how to learn Chinese.

在中国，很多学生抱怨掌握英语很难，他们也知道英语是多么的重要，但就是觉得很难学。然而对于很多外国人来说，他们开始学习中文，有些人却能够说得很好。征服汉语一直是流行的口号。随着中国经济的快速发展，外国人已经意识到这一趋势，所以掌握好汉语是寻求合作的最好方法。就算大家都说汉语是最难学的语言，仍然还有很多的外国人下定决心去学好它。俗话说有志者，事竟成。所以当我们抱怨学习第二语言困难的时候，想想外国人是如何学习汉语的。

My name is Li Lei. I have a happy family. There are four people in my family: my parents, my sister and I.

My family love each other. My parents love us and we love our parents. My parents both work hard. My sister and I study hard at school, too.

My family are kind and friendly to our neighbors. We are all polite to each other. We get on well with each other.

My family try our best to protect the environment in our daily life. My mom and my sister usually bring a bag to go shopping. My father is used to taking the bus to work. I never order takeaway food.

我的家人在日常生活中尽力保护环境。我妈妈和我妹妹通常带一个包去购物。我父亲习惯坐公共汽车上班。我从不点外卖。

My family are glad to be volunteers at any time. My parents often help the children in poor areas. My sister helps in the school library twice a week. Sometimes I read newspapers to the old people.

我的家人很乐意随时做志愿者。我的父母经常帮助贫困地区的孩子。我妹妹每周两次在学校图书馆帮忙。有时我给老人读报纸。

What a happy family! I'm proud of my family!

It's winter vacation again. I'm looking forward to the Spring Festival. Spring is coming. This Spring Festival, my father took me to my grandparents' home in the countryside.

又到了寒假，盼望着，盼望着，春节的脚步近了，春天来了。今年春节，爸爸带我到乡下的爷爷、奶奶家过年。

When I was a child, I also went to the countryside, but at that time it was too small to have much impression on the countryside. At noon on the second day of the lunar new year, the weather was very good. My father took me to the ridge of the countryside to turn around. Standing on the ridge of the field, I looked at the wheat seedling flying in the wind in the distance. It was green, and the nameless flowers at the foot of the nearby foot were in clusters. 小时候，我也到过农村，不过那时候太小，对农村没有多少印象。大年初二中午，天气很好，爸爸带我到农村的田埂上转了一圈，站在田埂上放眼一望，远处麦苗迎风飘扬，绿色一片，近处脚下无名的小花一簇簇的，这儿一片，那儿一片，五颜六色好看极了，现在我才知道什么叫生机一片，什么是真正的春天。我高兴极了，用手抓住一棵麦苗，仔细观察了起来，春天的麦苗绿油油的，两片大的叶子中间还有一个嫩嫩的麦芽，爸爸告诉我就是这嫩嫩的麦芽长大会开花最后就会结成我们要吃的小麦。

Then I caught a small flower with my hand. The petals were hexagonal. I smelled a little fragrance. I felt it and left a little pollen on my hand. It was slippery, but I couldn't name it. I asked my father and he said he didn't know. He told me there were too many unknown flowers and grass in the countryside. Can you count them? The countryside in spring is so beautiful!

随后我又用手捉住一朵小花，花瓣是六角形的，闻闻还有一点点清香，摸摸还会在手上留下一点点花粉，滑滑的，就是叫不出名字，我问爸爸他也说不知道，他告诉我在农村象这种不知名的小花小草太多了，你数得过来吗？春天的农村真是太美丽了！
