Golden week means long vacation. I'm in favor of the existing of golden week. Every year, I'm looking forward to its coming. During the golden week, I can have a good rest at home or go for a travel if my parents would like to. It is very wonderful. A semester is very long, and I often feel tired after a semester. Thus, if I can have a little long vacation during the long time study would be great. After I have a good rest, I can study effectively. Having a good rest, everyone would be full of energy.

黄金周意味着长假。我赞成黄金周的存在。每年我都期待着黄金周的到来。在黄金周期间，如果我的父母愿意，我可以在家好好休息，或者去旅行。这是非常美妙的。一个学期很长，一个学期后我经常感到疲倦。因此，如果我能在长时间的学习中有一个小长假，那将是很好的。在我好好休息之后，我可以有效地学习了。好好休息，每个人都会精力充沛。

This is the second time for Mr Brown to visit Jinan. During his stay in shandong, he will visit several schools. Next week Mr Brown will visit some places. First, he will take a train to Taian to climb Mount Tai. Then he will go to Qufu by bus to visit the Confucian temple. After that, he will return to Jinan by bus. Then he will fly to Qingdao for a visit. There he will stay for some days and give a talk on America English. At last he will take a plane to go back to America from Qingdao.

这是布朗先生第二次访问济南。在山东期间，他将参观几所学校。下周布朗先生将参观一些地方。首先，他将乘火车去泰安爬泰山。然后他将乘车去曲阜参观孔庙。之后，他将乘车返回济南。然后他将飞往青岛访问。他将在那里呆几天，做一次关于英语的演讲。最后他将乘飞机从青岛返回美国。

Every person has a idol in their heart. Children chase famous singers and actors. They are attracted by their beautiful appearance and all kinds of talents, but in my heart, the person I like the most is my English teacher. She is a very nice person. I remembered the first day I saw her. I felt so nervous and didn't know how to answer her question. She smiled and helped me to solve the problem. I felt so thankful and tried to learn English well. I like her class so much, because she will introduce some western music and culture to us. I gain a lot of knowledge and broaden my vision.

I have a lovely dog. It has a cute name "Little Jack". It's my good friend. It is 5 years old. I take it as my family member. It often follows me like a guard. It can watch my house.

I often play with it. I often take it outside for a walk on the weekends. It always waiting for me in front of the house when I go back home. When I am sad, it feels sad, too. It is anxious to please me.

My dog is so affectionate. I love my dog very much. Do you like it?

A stormy afternoon.

一个风雨交加的下午。

I asked Dad, "Dad, why hasn't mom finished work?"

我问爸爸：“爸爸，妈妈怎么还没下班呀？”

Dad said: "it may be too rainy today. Your mother may not be able to go home from work. It's still at work." After listening to my father, I grabbed two umbrellas and ran to my mother's unit.

爸爸说：“可能今天雨太大了，你妈妈可能下班回不了家。还在单位呢。”听完爸爸的话，我就抓起了两把伞，向妈妈的单位跑去。

Walking on the road, I found that my mother was walking on the road, covering the rain with her hands, lowering her head, walking hard in the wind and rain. I quickly gave my mother an umbrella.

走在路上，我发现妈妈正走在路上，用手遮着雨，低着头，艰难地走风雨中。我赶快给了妈妈一把伞。

People around me saw it and praised me as a good boy.

周围的人看见了，都夸我是个好孩子。
