My name is Li Lei. I have a happy family. There are four people in my family: my parents, my sister and I.

My family love each other. My parents love us and we love our parents. My parents both work hard. My sister and I study hard at school, too.

我的家人彼此相爱。我的父母爱我们，我们也爱我们的父母。我父母都很努力。我和妹妹在学校也很努力学习。

My family are kind and friendly to our neighbors. We are all polite to each other. We get on well with each other.

我的家人对邻居友好友好。我们彼此都很有礼貌。我们彼此相处得很好。

My family try our best to protect the environment in our daily life. My mom and my sister usually bring a bag to go shopping. My father is used to taking the bus to work. I never order takeaway food.

我的家人在日常生活中尽力保护环境。我妈妈和我妹妹通常带一个包去购物。我父亲习惯坐公共汽车上班。我从不点外卖。

My family are glad to be volunteers at any time. My parents often help the children in poor areas. My sister helps in the school library twice a week. Sometimes I read newspapers to the old people.

我的家人很乐意随时做志愿者。我的父母经常帮助贫困地区的孩子。我妹妹每周两次在学校图书馆帮忙。有时我给老人读报纸。

What a happy family! I'm proud of my family!

As the winter vacation is drawing near, I have a plan about my vacation. I'm going to do what I want to do. I'm going to study harder in order to get good grades in the following term. After finishing all my homework, I'm going to enjoy myself in the sea of knowledge. Reading must be a good idea. I'm going to keep fit at the same time. I'll get up early in the morning everyday and play sports. I really love sports. Besides that, Eating a balanced diet is also good for my health. I'm going to help my mom and dad with the housework as well in the vacation. I'll learn to cook. As for travelling, I'm planning to go to Hainan. But whether going there or not will be decided on the weather. During the vacation, I'm going to learn more about history, as I'm really poor on it.

随着寒假的临近，我有一个假期计划。我要做我想做的事。我要更加努力学习，以便在下学期取得好成绩。做完所有作业后，我将在知识的海洋中尽情享受。读书一定是个好主意。我要同时保持健康。我每天早上都会早起，做运动。我真的很喜欢运动。除此之外，均衡饮食对我的健康也有好处。我打算在假期里帮助我的父母做家务。我要学做饭。至于旅行，我打算去海南。但是否去那里将取决于天气。在假期里，我将学习更多关于历史的知识，因为我在这方面真的很差。

We are going to have the winter holiday. During the holiday we will have the Spring Festival. So all of the families in China are having a busy time. All of the children in China like Spring Festival very much, because they can eat many delicious food and get many money. But children in China have to do the homework for Winter Holiday. So that the could remember what they have learn the year before. Each of the children likes Winter Holiday.

我们将要放寒假。假期期间我们将过春节。所以中国所有的家庭都很忙。中国所有的孩子都非常喜欢春节，因为他们可以吃很多美味的食物，也可以得到很多压岁钱。但中国的孩子们不得不为寒假做作业。这样他们就能记住前一年学到的东西。每个孩子都喜欢寒假。

我想每个人在寒假都做了很多事情。但我没有。让你听听我的寒假故事。

I spend a lot of time on the homework. Every day in my Winter Holiday, I always got up late. Then I listened to the tape, it is nine o'clock. Then I ate breakfast and then I did my homework during the daytime! I'm not very slow but the homework was too heavy!

我花了很多时间在家庭作业上。在我的寒假里，我每天都起得很晚。然后我听磁带，一般是九点钟。然后我吃了早餐，然后在白天做了作业！我不是很慢，但作业太重了！

Last year's Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

去年的春节很特别。我的叔叔和婶婶从上海回来。我的家人很高兴能和他们一起过春节。这是所有节日中最令人兴奋的节日。

On New Year's Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programs. At about six o'clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

除夕夜，我父亲和我叔叔一起谈论了他们的工作。我妈妈和我婶婶祖父母一起做饭，我看了新年电视节目。大约六点钟，我们吃了一顿特别的家庭晚餐。我们都觉得饺子很好吃。

On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefang Road. My uncle bought some Jay's CDs. He likes Jay's music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

在新年的第一天，我们拜访了我们的亲戚。下午，我们去解放路购物。我叔叔买了一些周杰伦的CD。他非常喜欢周杰伦的音乐。路上有那么多人。比一年中的任何时候都更活跃。

On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

第二天和第三天，我们在乡下度过了一个美好的周末。那里的树比城里的大得多。这些动物比城里的还要漂亮。我们都玩得很开心。

Today is my father's birthday. My father is a policeman. He went to work early in the morning.

今天是爸爸的生日，爸爸是一名警察，一大清早爸爸就去上班了。

My mother and I have already discussed how to celebrate my father's birthday. What we discussed was: first, prepare the cake for Dad, set the cup, and I hid behind the door with the flowers. 我和妈妈早就商量好怎样给爸爸过生日了。我们商量的是：先给爸爸准备好蛋糕，摆好杯子，我拿着花躲在门后。可到了下班的时间爸爸没回来，我们等啊等，等到了九点爸爸依然没有回来。我问妈妈：“爸爸为什么还不回来？”妈妈说：“你爸爸说不定接到了什么任务，再等一会儿吧。”这时门铃突然响了起来，妈妈从门里往外一看，原来是爸爸。妈妈小声地说：“准备好！”当妈妈打开门爸爸走了进来，我从门后跳了出来说:“爸爸，生日快乐！”接着把花给了爸爸。爸爸又惊又喜，这时妈妈把灯关上点燃了生日蜡烛。我们一家三口高高兴兴地吃起了大大的生日蛋糕。

This afternoon, our class all come to play the game of Eagle catching chickens.

今天下午，我们班都来玩老鹰捉小鸡的游戏。

We first chose a chicken mother and an eagle. The next students are all cute chicken babies. The game started. When we first played it, we were afraid of being captured by the fierce eagle, so we tried our best to follow the mother chicken. Not good! Seeing that fierce and clumsy eagle is about to catch a chicken baby, our brave chicken mother sees it and runs to use her wings to protect the chicken baby who is about to be captured by the eagle, and then drives her wings out of our chicken.

我们先选了一个鸡妈妈和一只老鹰，剩下的同学都当鸡妈妈可爱的鸡宝宝。游戏开始了，刚玩的时候，我们心里都害怕被那只凶狠的老鹰抓走，所以我们就拼命的跟在鸡妈妈后面。不好了！眼看那只凶狠又笨拙的老鹰马上要抓住一只鸡宝宝了，我们勇敢的鸡妈妈看见后，飞快的跑过去用翅膀来保护快要被老鹰抓走的鸡宝宝，再用翅膀赶出了我们小鸡的周围。

In this way, we all relaxed our vigilance and ran away to play, forgetting that the fierce and clumsy eagle had never defeated. After playing for a while, the eagle came again. This time, it came quietly to catch chickens. It first saw the mother chicken cooking at home, so it ran quickly. 就这样我们都放松了警惕，跑到一边去玩，忘了那只凶狠又笨拙的老鹰从来没有服输过。玩了一会儿，老鹰又来了，这次它是悄悄的来抓小鸡。它先看到鸡妈妈在家做饭，于是飞快的跑过去，正要抓到一只小鸡的时候，鸡妈妈来叫小鸡们回去吃晚饭了。

The eagle said, "it looks like I'm going to be hungry today!"

老鹰说：“看来今天要饿肚子了！”

This year, because of the new crown epidemic, my mother and I watched the first lesson at home. The most impressive is the story of Grandpa Qian Xuesen. Grandpa Qian Xuesen is a famous scientist and aerodynamicist in the world. After finishing college in China, he went to the United States at public expense because of his excellent grades. After finishing his doctorate, he wanted to return to China to work, but the United States disagreed. Grandpa Qian Xuesen overcame all kinds of unexpected difficulties and finally returned to his motherland, becoming one of the most important scientists in New China. Without him, there would be no Chinese missiles. Without him, there would be no Chinese manned space vehicles.

今年因为新冠疫情的原因，我和妈妈一起在家里观看了《开学第一课》。其中印象最深刻的是钱学森爷爷的故事。钱学森爷爷是世界著名的科学家、空气动力学家。他在国内读完大学以后，因为成绩优异，又公费到美国去读书。读完博士以后，他想回到中国来工作，但是美国不同意。钱学森爷爷克服了种种意想不到的困难，最后终于回到了祖国，成为了新中国最重要的科学家之一。没有他，就没有中国的导弹，没有他，就没有中国的载人航天飞行器。

I admire his patriotism very much. I also think that Grandpa Qian Xuesen's great success in becoming a world famous scientist is inseparable from his spirit of hard study and study. It's all worth learning from him.

我非常敬佩他的爱国主义精神，我还觉得钱学森爷爷能够取得这么大的成功，成为世界著名的科学家，一定与他努力学习，刻苦钻研的精神分不开。这些都值得我向他学习。

In my opinion, my father is the busiest person in the family. He works at a university. Besides giving lectures, he does most of the house work. Almost every day he has a full schedule and can't afford much leisure.

在我看来，我父亲是家里最忙的人。他在一所大学工作。除了讲课，他还做大部分家务。几乎每天他都有满满的日程，不能有太多的闲暇时间。

Yesterday, for example, he had to get up very early. He did some shopping, prepared our breakfast, and went to work in a hurry, because he had to go to the classroom before 8 o'clock. Right after the first two classes, he went to his office to prepare his lessons for the next day. He came back home at 12. He cooked our lunch and wrote a letter. After lunch he went out to mail the letter. Afterward, he had an appointment with his friend to talk some important thing over. On the way to work, he had his hair cut and shoes repaired. Then he went to the lab to do experiments. In the evening, he corrected students's reports until 11.

Although my father is a very busy person, he feels happy. He often says:"Being idle will make me ill." So he often finds something to do to keep himself busy.
